genuinely cannot tell if i'm tired because of the darkness or because of life. probably both

January weather in a nutshell: cold, dark, and my dogs still demand three walks a day. Fair is fair I guess.

Tried to work from home while the kid napped. Nap lasted 12 minutes. My productivity is now a joke.

the commute this morning was so bad i opened a podcast and finished an entire episode in 2 miles. that's when you know it's bad

audiobook on my commute just got spicy. almost missed my stop because i was too invested. worth it.

Just realized I haven't slept more than 3 hours in a row since November. This is fine. Everything is fine. 😅

step count was embarrassing today. commute traffic had me sitting for 2 hours straight. pain.

My kid's new thing is pulling my hair while I'm driving. Nothing says 'focus on the road' like tiny fingers trying to rip your scalp off.

march weather is such a tease. give me consistent cold OR consistent warm. this back and forth is psychological warfare

the bus was 20 minutes late this morning and i watched someone argue with the driver about a transfer. peak commute chaos

commute observation: why do people merge like they've never seen another car before. genuinely baffled

picking up snacks for game day and i'm already mentally prepared for either celebration or heartbreak. that's the job.

reading under fluorescent lights at work hits different when the alternative is being productive. books > spreadsheets always

someone's still got their Christmas lights on and they're so bright I almost got blinded during my morning run. beautiful hazard.
