listening to a new podcast about tool restoration and now i want to rebuild everything i own

the cold makes wood do weird things. or maybe i'm just making excuses for why nothing fits right 🤷

my neighbor asked how long the kitchen took. i said 'a few months' but we both know it was closer to a year

why is it dark at 5pm. this is a personal attack on my workshop time #winterblues

hardware store trip #47 this winter. at this point they should just give me a membership card with my name engraved

finally leveled the kitchen shelves. only took me 6 months. it's perfect and nobody can convince me otherwise

the commute this morning was like a parking lot simulator. podcasts were the only thing keeping me sane

resolved to finish one project before starting another. we're 4 days into 2026 and i've already broken this rule twice 😅

january project planning while the garage is literally a freezer. coffee number 3 and i haven't even sketched anything yet

planning next year's projects while drinking cold coffee at midnight. this is my personality now, apparently.

it's cozy season and my garage is my happy place. some people go to the beach, i go to the hardware store

been thinking about what tool to invest in next. leaning toward a nice table saw but also that's a whole thing #woodworking
