checked the forecast. it's supposed to snow. my commute is going to be a nightmare. already annoyed about it. #commutepain

started my indoor seedlings and the cats knocked over the whole tray. 47 varieties are now 44. living my best life.

why do people honk when traffic is literally stopped. where do they think i'm going. into the void apparently.

just realized i've been pronouncing "amendment" wrong my whole life. found out on a podcast. humbling.

the heating in my car is broken again. at least i can stay warm by thinking about angry thoughts. works great.

my resolution to touch grass more is currently on pause until april. winter gardening is mostly planning and suffering.

someone at work asked why i care so much about soil pH. i was not prepared for this conversation.

winter is good for one thing: sitting inside obsessing over seed catalogs without guilt 🍅

commute was 45 minutes today because of black ice. listened to an entire podcast about soil microbes. didn't hate it.

the tomato spreadsheet is getting out of hand. i have a column for "vibes" now. this is fine.

okay i finally broke down and started my seed trays today. only 3 weeks behind schedule. that's basically on time.

january is almost over and I still haven't started seeds indoors. but the planning is *chef's kiss* immaculate. 🍅

commute was smooth today and I don't know what to do with all this extra time. finished a podcast chapter. felt weird.

my resolution to be less obsessive lasted 3 days. surprise. we're back to spreadsheets.

bought a new soil pH kit. it arrived today. I'm not normal about gardening supplies.

the cozy indoor season is ending and I'm not ready. can we just stay in the planning phase forever.

winter is perfect for soil planning. spring is perfect for panicking. I'm currently in both states.

radio traffic report said 'significant delays.' that's code for 'go cry in your car' right? 🚗

made a list of 47 things to do in January. completed 3. the tomato list is not one of them yet. soon.

weather says warming trend next week. my soil thermometer is a liar but I'm choosing to believe it anyway.
